Terms of Service

Effective 2026-06-12 · Oubliette Security LLC (Virginia, USA)

1. Scope

These terms govern use of oubliettesecurity.com and the hosted demo. Open-source packages are governed solely by their Apache 2.0 licenses — nothing here restricts rights granted there. Pro and Enterprise tiers are governed by the Commercial License Terms below or a signed agreement, whichever applies.

2. The demo

The live demo is provided for evaluation. Don't submit confidential or personal data to it; don't use it to attack systems you don't own or have authorization to test; don't attempt to disrupt the service itself (but see our vulnerability disclosure policy — good-faith security research is welcome).

3. Commercial License Terms (Pro / Enterprise)

A paid license key grants the purchasing organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pro/Enterprise features for the number of deployments purchased, during the subscription period. License keys may not be shared outside the purchasing organization or used to provide the software as a service to third parties without an Enterprise agreement. Fees are as published at purchase; renewals at then-current pricing. Either party may cancel before renewal; access continues to period end.

4. Disclaimer

The software and site are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Security software reduces risk; it does not eliminate it. No security tool guarantees detection of all attacks, and Oubliette makes no such guarantee.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oubliette's aggregate liability arising from these terms or the software will not exceed the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $100 if none), and Oubliette is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

6. Export and government use

You are responsible for compliance with U.S. export laws (EAR/ITAR where applicable) in your use of the software. For U.S. Government procurement, the software is commercial computer software per FAR 12.212 / DFARS 227.7202.

7. General

Virginia law; exclusive venue in Virginia courts. We may update these terms; material changes will be dated here. Questions: contact us.
